Steps to follow for updating the unit:
1. Download the upgrade file [eleksispro.upg] from www.sasbadi.com.
2. Copy the downloaded file [eleksispro.upg] into Micro SD card.
3. Insert the Micro SD card into the eleksispro Micro SD slot which is inside the battery cover.
4. Switch on Eleksispro and select [system]
[system upgrade].
5. Eleksispro has started upgrading. Please wait until the write data and compare completed.
6. A sound Beep Beep Beep… is reflecting that upgrading is completed.
7. Please press [enter] and take out the Micro SD card.
Circumstances while upgrading and after upgrading
1. The screen of eleksispro may blink.
2. Screen brightness may become darker. You can set the brightness after upgrading.
Note: Once upgrading completed, please cut off the power supply for a while. When re-connect the power supply, eleksispro will return to normal condition.
Steps to follow for updating the unit:
This unit functions as a USB device with 64M bytes. The user can download music files into the /Music/ folder, dictionary files into the /Dict/folder or store other data into this USB device. When connected to a PC via a USB cable, the user must select the USB Link under the [System] and press the [Enter] key to start the connection. Once connected, the user can transfer data between the PC and the unit.
Follow the steps below when using the USB drive.
Step 1: Download dictionaries or files from www.sasbadi.com.
Step 2: Switch on your computer and the ELEKSIS PRO.
Step 3: Connect the unit with a PC via a USB cable. No installation of driver is required for a USB drive
which runs under Windows ME/2000/XP/Mac OS 9.x / Mac OS X /Linux 2.4x platforms.
Step 4: Navigate to [system] and select [USB Link]. Wait for the PC to detect a removable disk volume, then copy files into this removable disk volume.
* To save downloaded dictionary into ELEKSIS PRO, open the [VENIER] folder and copy the dictionaries into [DICT] folder.
Note: If you cannot find the [VENIER] & [DICT] folder, you can create these folders by yourself.
*To save mp3 into ELEKSIS PRO, open the [MUSIC] folder and copy the mp3 into this folder.
Note: If you cannot find the [MUSIC] folder, you can create this folder by yourself.
Step 5: To remove the USB drive: Windows ME/2000/XP Right click on the USB icon at the bottom right
corner of the Windows ME/2000/XP. A box with the message “Stop USB Mass Storage Device” will
appear. Click “Stop” again on the message box with the message “USB Mass Storage Device is safe
to remove. ” Press “ok” to close the box. You can now remove the USB drive safely.
*To save mp3 into ELEKSIS PRO, open the [MUSIC] folder and copy the mp3 into this folder.
Note: If you cannot find the [MUSIC] folder, you can create this folder by yourself.
Note: Follow step 4 to remove the USB drive safely to avoid lost data.
